I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hostería Bärenhaus, and I must say, it felt like a warm hug in the heart of the Andes! Just a quick 5 km from the center of San Martín de los Andes, this quaint mountain lodge offered the perfect home base for my photography adventures with a couple of fellow enthusiasts. The cozy rooms, complete with panoramic views and fancy pillow menus, made returning from a long day of exploring a delight, especially when we'd curl up in front of the fireplace with a cup of tea. The staff was helpful, assisting us with tours which turned out to be fantastic for capturing the region's stunning landscapes. If you fancy a little nature walk or adventure, definitely check out Parque Nacional Lanin. With complimentary parking and a serene outdoor terrace to map out our next day's stops, Hostería Bärenhaus is an absolute gem for anyone looking to explore the rugged beauty of Patagonia!
